This is me every time I try to say goodbye to my roommate. In Spain you don’t just say “ok, bye”, you have to enact a slowly winding down conversation… every time. So, like, “okay, see you later, yeah, bye, have a good one, bye, ciao”. Even though I know all the cues, I can never hold onto them long enough to not say something nonsensical/inappropriate by the 3rd “goodbye”. WORKING ON IT.
