Great moments en la aula:
Today in the 4th grade class one of the kids asked me what my favorite soccer team was. I gave a good cop-out answer (LA SELECCIÓN aka the national team that is playing in qualifiers rn). He said his favorite was Real Madrid. Half the class started cheering. I asked if there were any Barça fans in the class, and one girl sitting at the front stood up, turned around, and unzipped her sweatshirt to reveal a Barça jersey. And everyone started screaming and shaking their nine-year-old fists at each other.
POP QUIZ: what is cuter, rabid 9 year old soccer fans or rabid 80 year old soccer fans???
